These pieces rely heavily on the
idiosyncratic instrumental skills of Matt Ingalls and myself. The
score indicates gestural shapes in varying degrees of detail, some
fully notated, some indications with which to improvise. We premiered 2 of the three at the Tuva Space in Berkeley in 2002. The full set was premiered on the sfSoundSeries on May 31st, 2005. |

silence and sound through multiple simultaneous interpretations of a
visually complex,
two-color score.
