"translate" them into another medium (sound, image, movement, text,
animation, etc.). |
| Identify salient features of the original that you wish to translate. |
| Explore different and creative "mappings" between the media. |
| Try to be as literal as possible with the translation. |
| Present your translation to the class. Be prepared to discuss the decisions you made and what the process revealed about properties of the original object and about the meaning of translation. |
